The Synopsis: The film "Vetri Payanam" for Astro Vaanavil Short Film Contest 2005 is a story about 4 "good" friends who have the dream to achieve BIG in the local industry by doing a short movie, but trouble occurs when each of their attitude and habits surfaces.

A short film to show the problems Indian youths are facing due to lack of effort & determination even though they have the dreams to do something.

Vetri Payanam came in as one of the top 10 finalist out of 80 entries. My team is proud of that but at the same time disappointed for not being the top 3. I guess the judges prefer "Vanmurey" subject after all. Anyway congratulations to all the winners and also thank you very much for those who have encouraged and supported Vetri Payanam.
